Kitchen Remodel Scope

After a previous partial renovation, the homeowners of Chasewater Dr. still needed a kitchen fitting of their lifestyle. The twenty-two year old builder grade space lacked the convenience and comfort of contemporary design. With years of experience in creating inviting and current spaces, that is exactly what Detailed Interiors did.

Modern Workflow

The previous kitchen created a negative experience for the modern chef. Our Master Remodeler, Steve Matela, changed the location of the cooking surface from the diagonal corner to a convenient location and relocated the refrigerator for easy access. Upgraded kitchen tools include a built in warming drawer and a gas range flanked by pull out cookie sheet storage.

Added Utility

There was a lack of adequate storage for the family.  Detailed Interiors added ample space by replacing an inefficient pantry closet with a pantry cabinet that included roll outs.

Luxurious Upgrades

The homeowners sought to update their kitchen with appealing design principles fit for the modern host. A luxurious Fusion Quartzite stone was sourced for all work surfaces, including an extended island bar top for increased seating and a better gathering space. The room was re-wired for under cabinet lighting, plug molding and the addition of new pendant lights above the island. For the final touches and value-building amenities, we added a Pinged Apron sink and a large roll-out in sink base cabinet.
